Why you believe we all need a bit more Truly in our lives/why did you want the job?
I just graduated and one thing I really took from my course was how I wanted to work for a company that had a really strong ethos that aligned with my personal values. Truly ‘truly’ believes in the bigger picture, producing high-quality timeless products that will leave their mark on your wardrobe and not the environment.
Presuming you are currently in the job of your dreams…what drives you at work?
I love to learn and am passionate about expanding my knowledge so working with a group of people who have a similar work ethic is really inspiring.
What’s your favourite Truly product?
As soon as I saw the Constellation Jumper it went straight to the top of my wish list. I was drawn to the print so I would also have to say the Constellation Plate is a close second. To be honest, the list gets longer and longer the more I look on the website!
Do you have any extra-curricular hobbies/passions? How do you relax?
I love to travel and explore new places; I made the most of my Summer and recently had the opportunity to go to Menorca and Ethiopia both of which I have never been to before. I immediately fell in love with Menorca (the crystal-clear beaches and the food made leaving very hard. Ethiopia was a completely different holiday, less relaxing and more exploring, it was unlike anywhere else I have ever been, I really would recommend it.
Aside from travelling, I love just spending time with friends and family whether that be just hanging out with a cocktail (usually a mojito!) or playing sport.
Tennis is one of my favourite sports, every year we go to France with some family friends and play doubles almost every day which can get quite competitive!
What would your last supper be?
My last supper is a bit of a rogue one- a conch salad! My mum grew up in the Bahamas and whenever we go back, I can’t wait to have a conch salad. For those that haven’t ever heard of it, conch is very similar to squid and is absolutely delicious.
If you could take a trip anywhere, where would you go? What kind of trip would it be?
If I could go absolutely anywhere, I would have to say Cuba. It’s been at the top of my list for a few years now and I would love the opportunity to tick it off. However, anywhere with beautiful beaches has my name on it!
Let’s talk constellations. What star sign are you? What typical traits do you have?
As a December baby, I am a Sagittarius. I would say I definitely fit some of the Sagittarius guidelines more than others, I consider myself a patient person (contrary to what I’ve recently just read about my fellow Sagittarius’s). I also pride myself on being very organised and loyal and would do anything for my friends and family.
